Publication Process

The publication process is an essential part of ensuring the quality and integrity of academic research. For authors submitting their work to VORS: Journal of Community Service, understanding the steps involved can help ensure a smooth and efficient experience. This guide outlines the typical publication process for the journal.

1. Initial Manuscript Preparation:

  • Carefully review the journal's author guidelines and formatting requirements.
  • Prepare your manuscript according to the specified structure (e.g., abstract, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, references).
  • Ensure that your work aligns with the journal's scope and focus on community service and engagement.
  • Obtain necessary approvals and permissions (e.g., ethical clearance, consent forms).

2. Manuscript Submission:

  • Create an account on the journal's online submission system.
  • Provide all required information, such as author details, keywords, and cover letter.
  • Upload your manuscript and any supplementary files (e.g., figures, data sets, appendices).
  • Carefully review and complete the submission process.

3. Initial Editorial Screening:

  • The editor or editorial team will conduct an initial screening of your manuscript.
  • They will assess the manuscript's suitability for the journal's scope and quality standards.
  • If the manuscript is deemed unsuitable, it may be rejected at this stage.

4. Peer Review Process:

7. Acceptance and Production:

  • The journal's production team will handle the copyediting, typesetting, and formatting of your manuscript.

8. Publication:
